I admit it. I bummed MW2 multiplayer hard. Very hard. I loved it, and sank more hours in to that multiplayer than I've probably sin any game before it. I didn't mind the same maps over and over again, nor that there were ways to die before you'd even finished spawning. I was in love.
Now, it's all come crashing down. I don't know what is, perhaps it's me, not you, MW2. But it's mostly you. I look across at Halo 3 and see the making of your own game modes, easily designing your own maps and such with Forge, and wonder what it would be like if STAG were making maps and modes for each other to play on. I see the skill level matcher meaning we don't get joined by super elite guys who think winning is more fun than playing. I see the relative balance that mean even if you've just spawned, you still have as much chance at taking down the next guy than anyone else does. I see a lobby system that doesn't break every two minutes and drop people.
I see all this, and wonder what I'm doing playing MW2 still.
Come, join with us and play Halo 3. Give it a chance. It loves you more than MW2 does.
I think this is the first time I've loved a game so much and then turned to hating it in such a fashion, despite nothing really having been changed.

But seriously, the more people who buy QoS, the better. It really is a lovely little game.
